This is the Web page of the Lincolnshire Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association and is currently under development.

 

            The group Lincolnshire Group are drawn from a catchment area with the postcodes DN, LN, PE, LH13, NG31,32,33,&34. and  have a varied programme of social walks which is published in Strider. Any member of the LDWA can walk with the group and can if they wish elect to have Lincolnshire as the group of their choice. Prospective members of the LDWA are welcome to join one of the social walks for a trial period, but should be aware that walks are around 20 miles at a reasonable pace and that it is advisable to make contact with the leader beforehand to confirm details.

Walk Leaders

 Our Walks Programme is limited by the number of members who are wiling to lead  and it falls to the same few people to devise and lead walks.If you feel you would like to lead a walk and inject some new life in to the programme please let the Walks Secretary know.

You may be a bit wary of participating and lack confidence but there's really not much to it and I'm sure new leaders would be supported by other Group members.

 Group Walk date change

 Due to unforseen circumstances the Cawthorne Canter group walk scheduled to be held on Sunday 24th March 2013 will now take place on Sunday 17th March 2013, all other details are unchanged and as published in Strider
