The Moray Way Association has been in existence as a constituted body for just under two years. The Moray Way is the sum of the Dava Way along with parts of the Moray Coast Trail and the Speyside Way which together combine to create a circular walking path of about 95 miles around the boundaries of Moray.Significant developments have taken place along the route in 2010 thanks to a donation of £5,000 towards the cost of producing the Walkers map of the Moray Way map, and to a LEADER grant of £8,500. The latter has been largely used to upgrade and improve the signage along the Dava Way and Moray Coast Trail sections. The reorganisation of the Speyside Way Rangers as the Moray Countryside Service has extended their scope to cover the entire Moray Way and the Association is grateful to Ian Douglas, Access Officer at Moray Council for his support in this and indeed at all stages of the project.
