Review:

Publisher's information 2007

25 challenging circular walks based on the Offa's Dyke National Trail south of Knighton. With Volume 2 (covering the northern section, due in 2001) this will be the only guide detailing energetic walks using most of Offa's Dyke Trail. The walks range from 5 to 13 miles (3 to 7 hours) and sample the delights of some of the best hill walking areas in the country. Detailed but concise instructions include height gain, local facilities and summaries of terrain and ground conditions. Sketch maps to scale are to scale - a boon in this demanding terrain. Suggested starting points give the more demanding elements in the first few miles.
