Back cover of book 2011

The Rossendale Way is a 45-mile circuit walk starting from Clough Head, Haslingden Grane. The walk will take you through old paths and trails and onto wild moorland, climbing the hills to the Lancashire/Yorkshire Border and following pathways around the boundary of Rossendale. The route has been broken down into nine shorter walks from one and three quarters miles to 9 miles, each starting and finishing at a motor road. One or two sections are short but this can be ideal for those people just spending a few hours walking the route. This guide follows the Rossendale Way in an anticlockwise direction. Suitable for walkers of all abilities. Quality maps and photographs.
