Cliff and sea graphic and name on green discPurbeck Way West

14 km / 9 miles

Dorset
The Purbeck Way West heads from Wareham through the villages of East Stoke and Coombe Keynes to end at picturesque Winfrith Newburgh. An additional loop descends south to the coastal village of West Lulworth to provide a circular walk from West Lulworth or Winfrith Newburgh. The route is waymarked with same distinctive green and white Purbeck Way discs. The route passes through common land, woodland, traditionally managed landscapes and even touches the Dorset Coast at Lulworth. The varied landscapes are home to Sika and roe deer and the meadows, woodlands, chalk downs and sea cliffs host many species of bird, insect and flower.
