The Purbeck Way West begins in West Lulworth on the (Dorset) Jurassic Coast and heads north west to Winfrith Newburgh, east to Coombe Keynes and then back to West Lulworth. A (Purbeck Way West) Spur runs north east from Coombe Keynes to near East Stoke (source: Dorset CC)

This route is a variant of the Purbeck Way. It is is waymarked with the same distinctive green and white discs.

The original route to (or from) Wareham has been excluded as it included a stretch of the busy A352.

The route passes through common land, woodland, traditionally managed landscapes. The varied landscapes are home to Sika and Roe deer and the meadows, woodlands, chalk downs and sea cliffs host many species of bird, insect and flower.
