North Downs Way National Trail Canterbury Loop to Dover

The alternative Loop to Dover is as scenically interesting and varied as the more direct route via Wye and Folkestone. Although longer it passes Godmersham Park, once the home of Jane Austen's brother; Chilham, a village dating back to Roman times, Canterbury, and Shepherdswell before crossing agricultural land to reach the finish. Being a 'loop' you can make it a 45 mile circular walk.
