Hobblers Way (Coast to Coast - Wash to Severn)

311 km / 193 miles

Leics, Lincs, Northants, Oxon, S Glos, Wilts
The Hobblers Way is a 193 mile walk from the River Nene in the East to the Seven Bridge in the West. Running diagonally across the country though Lincolnshire, Along the Northern edge of Northamptonshire where it broadly follows the Jurassic Way, briefly touching upon Leicestershire , then on into Oxfordshire and making use of the Century Way, before heading further South West touching upon the Macmillan Way through Wiltshire and into Avon.

The HOBBLERS WAY was conceived as a twelve leg walk with the walkers using multiple vehicles, meeting at the finish point of the intended leg, leaving one or more vehicles there and using the others to travel back to the start point.
THE RV OF EACH LEG IS ALWAYS AT THE END.

The descriptions and maps are intended to help the walker plan the route with the aid of the relevant Ordinance Survey map before attempting each leg. The walker should be competent with a map and compass, properly equipped, and capable of completing 12-18 miles per leg. The longer legs are in the middle of the walk intended to take advantage of the lighter summer nights.
