Cheviot Hills 2,000 foot Summits

40 km / 25 miles

Northumberland
This upland LDWA Anytime Challenge walk over rough terrain and involving 5,000ft of ascent, links the Cheviot, Windy Gyle, Bloodybush Edge, Cushat Law, Comb Fell and Hedgehope, each over 2,000ft. Good navigation skills are required. An alternative route from Wooler, adding 10 miles, is described. Map OS Landranger 75 is needed only if walking from Wooler.
