Centenary Circle

A route around Chelmsford passing via Sandon, Chignal Smealey, Galleywood, Writtle, Broomfield and the River Chelmer. The walk will take you past the magnificent New Hall School (originally a convent) which is one of the oldest Catholic schools in England. It is also worth keeping a look out for Hylands House which is a stunning Grade II listed building set in 574 acres of Hylands Park.
