Cotswold Round

Bath & NE Somerset, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, S Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire

349 km / 217 miles
Devised by the Macmillan Way Association for the purpose of raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief the Round comprises the Cross Cotswold Pathway (86 miles) from Banbury to Bath, a suggested turn north along the Cotswold Way National Trail to Chipping Campden, and then a return to Banbury by way of the Cotswold Link (21 miles). The Pathway is based largely on the Macmillan Way and the Link is coincident in parts with the Heart of England Way.

UPDATE May 2023:
Re-alignment of the 3-mile single-carriageway stretch of the A417 between Air Balloon roundabout (SO 935161) and the Cowley roundabout (SO 949134) is scheduled to begin in the Autumn of 2023. Large parts of the existing road will be 'repurposed' into a multi-user (walkers, cyclists, horse riders) Right of Way. The Cotswold Round will either be incorporated into, or cross, the re-designated route.
