River and leaf logo on yellow named discsBollin Valley Way

40 km / 25 miles

Cheshire, Gtr Man
The River Bollin rises in the Pennine Foothills and flows through Macclesfield, Prestbury, Wilmslow, Hale and Bowdon, eventually running into the Manchester Ship Canal (ie, the Mersey) at Bollin Point. The Way follows the river and is also a spine route giving access to a wider footpath network.

The waymarked Fred Perry Way (14 miles; route maps online on Stockport website) spans Stockport Borough from Woodford in the south to Reddish in the north, commemorating a famous Stockport son, the legendary tennis ace.
