Wester Caputh Steading Hostel can be found in the peaceful village of Caputh, 4 miles east of Dunkeld on the River Tay. Located in central Perthshire, it is just over an hour’s travel from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Dunkeld is delightful, centred around a medieval square and Catherdral. There are excellent cycling routes nearby, and beautiful woodland and river walks. The River Tay offers some of the best rafting, canoeing and fishing in the country , the wildlife in the area is plentiful and there are five castles and four distilleries within an hour’s drive. The Hostel has five bunk bedrooms and there is a large comfortable living area with wood-burning stove and a kitchen equipped for all your cooking needs. Outside is a paved patio and a large grassy area to the rear with picnic benches and charcoal BBQ.
