||Eden Valley Bunkhouse, in the heart of undiscovered walking and cycling countryside, has been sympathetically converted from sandstone farm buildings with rustic old beams. It is well away from main roads and the busy Lake District, yet within easy reach of Ullswater, Hadrians Wall and the Scottish Borders. Situated around a courtyard are three spacious bedrooms each sleeping 4 in 2 bunk beds (with space for a camp bed). The kitchen, converted from the old dairy, contains cooking and eating utensils, stove, mircowave and fridge. The showers and toilets are of a high standard and there is a clothes drying area. The farm has beautiful views, woodland picnic area, riverside walks and salmon and trout river fishing. An easy walk away is Kirkoswald village, which has a shop, post office and two inns. A mile and a halves walk over a picturesque sandstone bridge is the village of Lazonby with a heated out-door pool, supermarket and station. The bunkhouse is half a mile off the C2C cycle route and surrounded by quiet and serene public footpaths. The farm also has a small caravan/camp site and operates the C2C Hassle Free service.
