| Accommodation Info: | In a spectacular location overlooking the lake, YHA Windermere stands in its own extensive grounds and has panoramic views of the Lakeland mountains. With a warm friendly atmosphere, comfortable accommodation and all day access, this is an ideal base to spend a few days whilst exploring the many attractions of South Lakeland. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the hostel terrace and explore the large wooded grounds with Woodland Trails and abundant wildlife. There is a range of indoor and outdoor activities for children. For a completely relaxing break try the excellent meals on offer, from hearty dinners to an extensive buffet breakfast and picnic lunches. All food is freshly cooked using locally sourced ingredients and regional specialities wherever possible.
