Accommodation Info
This large stone house stands on the green in a quiet, pretty village on both the Pennine Way and Cumbria Cycle Way in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cross Fell, the highest peak on the pennines is within walking distance as is the magnificent High Cup Nick. YHA Dufton is situated within the first geopark in Europe, an area of great geological interest. You can board the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway in nearby Appleby. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the moorland of the North Pennines or the green valleys of the River Eden. The re-development project has been made possible thanks to substantial funding form the Cumbria Rural Development Programme and the European Regional Development Fund through their Rural Economic Development Zone fund.
