The shed is a shooters hut between Gorple Upper and Gorple Lower Resevoirs at SD930314. The door is always open and we have spent many a rest halt in there sheltering from the elements. I think the group is either the Irregulars or East Lancs because the person standing with his back to the camera in the red shirt is Gerald. I suspect it is East Lancs and Hilary took the picture. The hut is on the long route of Moors The Merrier. |

See the shed in the picture above? It's not the one we all stopped in on our AGM walk last Saturday is it? (on the moor above Blanchland) I would guess Mike Rayner will probably be the first - or amongst the first to give me answer. |
