In December, Sustrans will be competing in a public poll for £50 of Lottery money, for their Connect2 project. If successful, this will go towards creating new cycling and walking routes in communities across the UK, including upgrading the Sale section of the Bridgewater Way canalside walk. ITV1 will be featuring the bids week commencing 3 December, with telephone voting taking place 7th-10th (online voting from 26 November). LDWA members may well wish to vote for this project.
