Think the snail may just finish the course ahead of me - at least he has a house to retreat into if the weather is as it was for the giant last time!! Should be a great event - can't wait. |

Hi Rebecca and Steve: YES your names are on the entry list you are OK. To any others who were still thinking of entering, I am really sorry but full definitely means FULL. For the naturalists among you, You should be able to see the uncommon and weird flowers of toothwort (lathraea squamaria) growing in old hazel coppice near Cerne Abbas There are also unconfirmed but plausible reports of the rare and extraordinary Roman Snail (our largest land mollusc) on or near the route. Look out for a snail the size of a golf ball in old woodlands on chalk. Not aggressive and very slow, just like me. mike childs |
