in the past they had cakes at the bakewell cp but still one of my favourite walks always good weather never known it bad for the last nine years and good company along the way |

Challenge was the word - quite a few hills, but stunning route and lovely views of Chatsworth - we were lucky enough to see a Lancaster Bomber flying overhead just as we entered the park. Great charity event - checkpoints offered biscuits and juice - no savoury or sandwiches, so you need to carry extra food with you for this one, but nice pie and peas at the end. Great! |
