| Description: | 26 or 16ml in 9.5hr from Peaslake Memorial Hall (GR TQ085447) on good fps & tks in the Surrey hills. Routes incls places associated with the LDWA founders - the Old Peaslake PO, the Toposcope on Pitch Hill, Blatchford Down, Tanners Hatch YH, & Steer's Field. Start: walkers 09.00; runners 10.30. Entry: in advance (up to 14 Oct) £5 (non-LDWA £7); OTD +£2 includes drinks and food at CPs, light hot meal at finish and cert. New for 2009 - a short route (for walkers only) and pick-ups from Guildford rlwy station. Please help ease congestion in the village by car sharing if possible. The LDWA organises many challenge and local group walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Group walks are normally led walks of up to 20 miles.
