30, 21 or 16ml. in 10.5hr from Jubilee Hall, Chagford, Devon on circular routes to the south of Chagford using open moorland, footpaths, tracks and quiet country lanes and visiting classic Dartmoor tors, hamlets and Bronze Age settlement of Grimspound. Dartmoor at its springtime best!. Start: walkers 08.30; runners 09.30. Entry: In advance £6; non-LDWA & all OTD £7.50 incl badge & certificate; refreshments at start & cps; light meal & cream tea at finish. Entrants should be adequately equipped for the prevailing weather connditions & be able to follow simple compass bearings; map reading skills an advantage but not essential as a full route description will be supplied. All must entrants must carry their own mug & water. Dogs on leads, please. Organised by & chqs payable to Cornwall & Devon LDWA. SEF accepted with SAE to. |
