Event Details Updated: It was decided at a recent Group meeting that it is very unlikely that this event will be repeated after the 2012 event so this year will very probably be your final opprtunity to enjoy the Skelter!

Start Time: 8.30am
Route: Start - The Market Hotel, Elsecar, Nr.Barnsley, South Yorkshire (next to the Elsecar Heritage Centre) Our route takes in the magnificent Wentworth Woodhouse and its follies, Wentworth village, Wharncliffe Crags, Wortley Hall and Tankersley Old Hall (where scenes from the film “Kes” were shot). So why not come along and experience some of the goodies that South Yorkshire has to offer - wonderfully varied countryside with some terrific views and warm Yorkshire hospitality with good food on checkpoints are all included and your decision on which route to follow can be made on the day!

Cost: Entry: in advance £7.50 (non-LDWA £8.50); OTD all £10 including new badge & certificate for all finishers, refreshments at several Cps and pie & peas at the finish. Free Parking. Due to limited space at our walk venue entries will be limited to only 150 – so be sure to book early to guarantee your entry!

Where an event is marked as 'SEF acceptable' you may speed up the process of entering using a Standard Entry Form. Please ensure that you read the instructions on the form before posting.
