From Alstonfield Village Hall

with around 5,000ft of ascent in an elliptical route that minimises the use of popular trails and other challenge routes around the Staffordshire Moorlands & Derbyshire Dales. Starting from Alstonefield, then Milldale, ‘Baley Hill’ ‘The Nabs’, ‘Nabs Dale’ Ilam Rock, Ilam Hall, Calton, Throwley Hall, Grindon, Wetton Mill, ‘Sugerloaf’, Hulme End, Sheen, Sheen Hill, Pilsbury Castle, Hartington, Biggin Dale, Iron Tors, and finally back to Alstonefield.

Entry limit 300. Entries OTD may be available but please check before travelling. Principally aimed at walkers, although the event is also open to runners. Entry form on website or SEF accepted with SAE. Chq payable to Leaden Boot Challenge. Proceeds to fund a new lead roof for the church
