Route

From Sowood Village Hall, nr. Outlane. Leave M62 at J23 or J24 & fllw A640 west to Outlane, then follow signs for Stainland (B6112). Hall is on R after 1/2ml

Route comprises 3 loops (11, 7 & 4ml; 17.7, 10.5, & 6.4km) Any or all loops may be walked but must finish by 16.30 The walks explore the Black Brook Valley, a narrow sided tributary of the R. Calder, between Halifax and Elland
