Starting from the junction of the Worcestershire - Birmingham canal with the Severn at Diglis Basin

Following the canal from the centre of Worcester out of the city past Fiveways, close by Droitwich, through Stoke Pound, ascend the Tardebigge Flight which is the longest flight of locks in the UK, cross the busy Bromsgrove Highway, onto Alvechurch and under the thunderous procession of the M42 towards Hopwood. Meander through Hawkesley to rejoin the canal and reach Kings Norton, then speed along past Bournville, Sellyoak, Unversity and finally reaching the centre of Birmingham at Gas Street Basin

General Notes
A linear walk so either way you could catch the train to or back to the start of your walk. We expect to finish within 10 hours making the walk at a comfortable 3mph
