From Crickhowell Youth & Community Centre

With 6,790ft of ascent on the scenic Black Mountains, passing through LLanbedr then 8ml of ascent and Whaleback Ridge to Waun Fach (highest point in Black Mtns), downhill to Pengenfordd (refreshments); 1,000ft climb to Mynydd Troed, followed by Mynydd Llangorse, descent to Pentre (refreshments); then 1,800ft climb to Pen-Allt-Mawr, along the ridge to Pen-Cerrig-Calch and then downhill to the finish. Those not reaching Pentre (CP7, 20ml) by 16.00 will be asked to retire

General Notes
Full kit check at start & randomly en route. All entrants must be over 18 on day of event. No dogs allowed. Organised since 1982 by Newport Outdoor Group (YHA) & Brecon Mountain Rescue Team. Proceeds have raised over £34,000 for the MRT. Entry form on website or with SAE
