Start.Queen Victoria statue opp Castle (SU967769; train 08.43 Paddington to Windsor Central 09.28, or trains from Waterloo to Riverside and walk up hill to statue: 07.44 Waterloo arr Riverside 08.44). Eton, Thames Path, then viewing seasonal floral displays in Valley Gardens (free) and other Great Park landmarks, plus Runnymede and Air Force Memorial. Lunch: Savill Garden café or byo. Dogs on leads. (Waterloo 08.44 train is too late as prompt start due to cafe being busy at lunchtime.)
