Strt Moulsecoomb stn. Dep Victoria 8.06 Change at Brighton. (Arr Brighton 8.57 Dep 9.10). Finish at Seaford. Lunch at The Courtyard café - South Downs Youth hostel. Sandwiches, soup, chips and pizza available. Note lunch is early at 10 miles so please bring afternoon snack if likely to be needed. There are no villages en route. One possible stop for refreshment at Exceat c 20 mls. Buy return ticket to Seaford (valid via Brighton and Moulsecoomb.) Car drivers can return to Moulsecoomb.( 2 trains per hr approx. 25mins). Alternatively park at Haywards Heath and catch train to Moulscoomb (8.41 arrive 9.15, change at Brighton as above). Return trains to London stop at Haywards Heath.

Hilly route with great views. Route crosses the south downs via Castle Hill, Southease,, Itford Hill , High and Over, Exceat, Cuckmere Haven to Seaford. Section of SWD through Southease plus other lesser known paths over the south downs
