From c.p. (p+d) @ Burton Dassett Country Park (£1.50 in 2013). Toilets (limited opening times)

Route goes via Radway, Edge Hill, Hornton, Great Bourton, Cropredy, Farnborough, and Fenny Crompton. It passes the Civil War battlefields of Edge Hill (1642) and Cropredy Bridge (1644) and takes in a section of the Oxford canal. The stone villages are pretty and good views from the ridges. Civil war enthusiasts can bring their own pikes and/or muskets if they wish
