| Route: | From Hubbard's Hills, Louth - North c.p. Crowtree Lane Entrance (p+d). Directions - From the A16 Louth By-Pass. When you reach the Elkington R'bout take the exit signposted Louth Town Centre - A157/B1200. Turn R onto Love Lane. Turn R onto Crowtree Lane and carry on until you reach c.p. at end of the rd John Merrill route links nine deserted medieval villages ravaged by the Black Plague. Visiting Kelstern, Donnington-on-Bain and Withcall, it is, in part, coincident with the Viking Way. The whole walk is a sheer delight through totally unspoilt scenery, small villages and hamlets, rich in history and visiting the Hubbard Hills en route |
