PUDDING PLOD 2011
Thirty-seven members attended this eagerly awaited social occasion at the new venue of the Calf’s Head, Worston, enjoying a three-course Christmas menu. Plenty of good quality, Lancashire fayre went down extremely well with all concerned, served by staff eager to please.
JAQUI, SUE AND PAULINE RARING TO GO:
The event had started in the car park, where Bob and Margaret had helped put people in the festive spirit by dispensing mince pies and hot ginger wine, prior to Chris Seddon leading a lovely walk in the shadow of Pendle Hill, arriving back in plenty of time for pre-meal drinks at the bar.

The Pudding Plod is a well-established tradition within the group. Started in 1989 and now twenty-three events later, it still follows the tried and trusted formula that has helped make the West Lancashire group a continuing success over the past thirty years.
