Doncastrian Way Anytime Challenge Walk

Doncastrian Way Badge

A 33 mile circular walk around the old County Borough boundary of Doncaster. The walk takes you through many different areas of Doncaster Borough from the urban fringes to open fields and attractive woodlands and from riverbanks to green lanes

The route is crossed at  intervals by regular bus bus routes to and from Doncaster which makes it possible to complete sections of the walk or to beat a hasty retreat if sore feet or aching limbs prevent further progress.

The route which follows public rights of way, with short sections on roads, was devised by Pat White of Doncaster Wayfarers in the early 1970's

Route descriptions are available from our walks secretary Frank Lawson as are badges and certificates for successful completions at a cost of £2.00 plus SAE.
