Many thanks to Dave for the walk last Sunday.  12 of us and we did get a little wet after our tea stop in the mid afternoon.

We were joined by new member Judy plus Brian and hope they will come regular attendees with South Manchester.  It was good to have Rosie and John with us on a rare visit to the north.  They were looking well the southern air must be doing them good. Those that did the recent Three Shires would have seen Rosie and John helping on that event.  We were also joined by Davina and Bev plus Paul from High Peak and John from Staffs and our regulars Bob, Peter and your correspondent. Some very good views as per photos in our challenge walk item in STRIDER and paths in areas that were familiar to us but not necessarily the paths.  We met 4 youngsters doing their D of E and they had a further nights camping, other than that a lonely lady with her ice cream van and we did not participate.
