Led by David A, six of us had a pleasant outing viewing rainbows over Oaken- and Wildboar Cloughs.  We returned by Cessbank Common and the Brown Hill ridge, surrounded by the illuminated sights of Leek, Macclesfield, Stockport and Winter Hill.  We should have been joined by Christophe from Kent group, currently working in Macclesfield, but the service at the Hanging Gate was so slow he had not got his meal before we set out.  Let's hope he can join us for an outing in the future.

 

Back in the pub, another exciting, varied and entertaining draft walks & social programme for early 2012 was put together over a pint of Hyde's - watch this space.
