This is the Web page of the Nidderdale Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association and is currently under development.
The group in north west Yorkshire are drawn from a catchment area with the postcodes BD23&24, DL, HG, LS22&23 and have a programme of social walks which is published in Strider and meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 8.oopm in TheUnion,Calcutt. All group walks have an emphasis on being social and accommodating. Any member of the LDWA can walk with the group and can if they wish elect to have Nidderdale as the group of their choice. Prospective members of the LDWA are welcome to join one of their social walks for a trial period, but should make contact with the leader beforehand to confirm details.
