Stansfield Road c.p. This is off the mini-roundabout, just under the railway viaduct and bus station on the Burnley Road, the A646, – easy to find. There are several ways to cut the walk short if required. If anybody wants to cut off early there are ways of making it 14 miles, 18 miles, or closer to the end, to use the canal to finish on, making it 24 miles. There are some ups and down, it is Calderdale after all, but using the canal will also cut the climb to Stoodley Pike |

This walk is being put on in the hope of encouraging people who haven’t completed 28 miles before and want the chance to do so. It will be lead at an accommodating pace and the hope is to get everybody who wants to finish it round. Last time we did this walk as a club walk, we finished at 19:15 with a 08:00 start |
