Minutes of meeting held on 12 May 2011

Chairman: Nothing to report

 

Secretary: Confirmed discount cards had been ordered but not received as yet. Donation of £60 from Northumbria Group for tent and tables sent to Great North Air Ambulance.

 

Treasurer: David’s lost cheque has now been found. £10 given to Carol for support on Langbaurgh Loop. Funds in healthy position.

 

Quartermaster: List of equipment will be produced for the next meeting.

 

Webmaster: Needs contributions to be sent, including minutes.

 

Walk Secretary: 18 out on Newgate Bank walk plus Bob who joined us later. Tandem walk (West Route) has been arranged for 24th September.

 

Next walk to be led by Vince from Swainby, although he is injured at the moment and will let us know at the June meeting whether he can do it.

 

With regard to the 40th Anniversary walk, Dave suggested we might do a supported Lyke Wake Walk as this is 40 miles.

 

Secretary to check age of Cleveland Group.

 

Dave informed us of Wildlife Trust walks from Boulby and Ayton Banks.

 

Hanging Stone Marshals walk will be Sunday 10th July.

 

Dave is proposing to do a cycle route of around 15 miles in the Stockton area.

 

Hanging Stone: 14 entries so far. Entry forms to be brought to next meeting for distribution.
