Santa Walk - Sunday 14th December 2014

Another great walk with Santa  - 26 happy walkers – carols at Northill (Terry in charge – who needs Gareth Malone) - on to Old Warden for another carol - the sun came out for our festive lunch of mince pies and mulled wine and apple.  The sun shone for the rest of the day. More carols on the Greensand Ridge and back at Cople - and a pressie for all from Santa’s sack.

The pub at Cople wasn’t open - not to be outdone - we went down the road to Cardington.

Thank you Santa, and his little helper Merrian who supplied all the goodies.

Mulled apple juice - 1 litre apple juice, 40g demerara sugar, half cinnamon stick, grated nutmeg, 1 orange quartered, 1 bay leaf, 1 star anise, 2 cloves.
